Forward Tipping Dumper

Forward Tipping Dumper Training Courses

Training options available:
  • Novice operators (wheeled or tracked) 3-days training course.
  • Experienced operators (wheeled or tracked) 1x day assessment on site or at our training centre.
Qualification:
  • NPORS 
Forward Tipping Dumper Training course includes:
  • Essential features of the dumper including basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges. 
  • Use of the operator’s handbook.
  • Checks and procedures for pre-use, start, running and close-down.
  • Preparing the dumper for site and road travel.
  • Travelling over different types of terrain and varying inclines when loaded and unloaded.
  • Manoeuvrability in open and confined spaces in a forward and reverse direction in loaded and unloaded state.
  • Positioning the dumper to receive loads.
  • Loading procedures .
  • Load characteristics, integrity and security.
  • Discharging loads into trenches and over edges.
  • Placing the dumper in an out-of-service condition.
  • Loading and unloading procedures on and off a transporter.
  • Dumper trained operator theory test.

Training options available:

  • Experienced operators (wheeled or tracked) 1-day assessment on site or at our training centre.

Rear Tipping Dumper training includes:
  • Basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges.
  • Use of the operator’s handbook.
  • Pre-use and running checks.
  • Setting the dumper truck for site and road travel.
  • Travelling over different types of terrain and varying inclines when loaded and unloaded.
  • Manoeuvrability in open and confined spaces in a forward and reverse direction in loaded and unloaded state.
  • Hazard awareness training.
  • Rear tipping dumper positioning to receive loads.
  • Loading procedures compliance including loading integrity and security.
  • Discharge loads into trenches or over edges.

Skid Steer Loader

Skid Steer Loader Training Courses

Training options available:
  • Novice operators (wheeled or tracked) 3-days training course.
  • Experienced operators (wheeled or tracked) 1-day assessment on site or at our training centre.
Qualification:
  • NPORS 
Skid Steer Loader training includes:
  • Identify the basic construction and components, and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges.
  • Identify and comply with manufacturer's instructions in accordance with the operator’s handbook.
  • Carry out all pre-use and running checks.
  • Alternative skid steer travel options including site and road travel.
  • Travel on different terrains including rough and undulating ground, both in a loaded and unloaded state.
  • Travel up and down substantial inclines in a loaded and unloaded state.
  • Manoeuvre in confined areas using forward and reverse direction, in a loaded and unloaded state.
  • Form stockpiles and ramps of various materials.
  • Load various types of materials into receptacles, i.e. vehicles, hoppers, dumpers etc.
  • Clean and level different types of materials.
  • Place the skid steer in an out-of-service condition.
  • Trained Operator theory test.

Training options available:

  • Experienced operators (wheeled or tracked) 1-day assessment on site or at our training centre.
Loading shovel training includes:
  • Basic construction, names of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges.
  • Use of the operator’s handbook.
  • Pre-use, start, running checks and close-down procedure.
  • Preparing the loading shovel for site and road travel.
  • Travelling over different types of terrain and varying inclines.
  • Manoeuvrability training, progressing to confined spaces in a forward and reverse direction in both loaded and unloaded states.
  • Positioning and setting the machine to load.
  • Precautions and actions for underground and overhead services and other hazards.
  • Soil and material characteristics.
  • Loading vehicles, dumpers and hoppers.
  • Backfilling, grading, spreading and levelling different types of terrain.
  • How to remove and re-attach different buckets.
  • Placing the loading shovel in an out-of-service condition.
  • Loading and unloading procedures on and off a transporter.
  • Trained operator theory test.
